Back to school with PUSH Fitness
This time of year is controversial. Some love it: the fall clothes, the cooler air, back to a schedule, kids off to school. For others, this is a nostalgic time of saying goodbye to long summer days.
We believe it’s time to embrace the change. Deciding to celebrate what is wonderful about this time of year (and we most certainly to not mean Pumpkin Spice anything) is the best way to make the most of September.
Here at PUSH, we are embracing the change and celebrating it. We are happy to announce that Victoria is heading back to school and will be studying Applied Human Nutrition at MSVU. Luckily for us, we still have her mornings through the week (except Thursday) and Saturdays. We are happy to support Victoria as she moves forward in her education on her path to help support others in living a healthy life.
In addition, Liam is back to the grind at Dalhousie, you will find him in the early mornings, Monday evening, Wednesday mid-day and Saturdays. Did you know Liam is training as a powerlifter? He’s your guy for increasing strength and improving technique with a particular focus on all the big lifts – bench press, squats, deadlifts, chin-ups.
We wish all of our students the best this term!
As we all settle into the swing of autumn, we hope to see you in the gym. A reminder that the mid-afternoon tends to be a nice, quiet time to come visit us, not to mention a good way to beat off the afternoon lull.
We have curated some healthy lunch ideas on the nutrition blog. Check it out for some lunch inspiration:
The Mason jar salads in particular are an easy, low maintenance meal.
