PUSH Initial Functional Assessment

The initial functional assessment is without a doubt, the most important session between a strength coach/trainer and the client.

This assessment can quickly identify each individual's weaknesses and limitations when certain movement patterns are altered. By focusing on weaknesses and imbalances we greatly reduce the risk of injury as well as become more efficient with programming. This is essential in both fitness and athletic program design. During this time, we will also discuss health history, goal setting as well as nutrition. This includes some exercises to do at home as well as our main nutrition points.
